Western Canada - seeking a lightweight electric bike

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Hello I'm a newbie :) I'm looking for an electric bike that is definitely under 44lbs. (which is what I have been looking at and is WAY to heavy and high). I'm 5'4 and 110 lbs. and not so strong. With my height I am finding it hard to find a bike that fits me:( Really excited to find one that is 'me'. Perhaps a child's bike might be the way for me? Can anyone suggest a bike shop around town and preferably one on a bus or skytrain route? Thanks for any info :)

Under 44 pounds, with batteries? Don't think it's possible.
Unless it costs an absolute fortune, or is a waste of time.

A BionX PL250 kit would add approximately 14LBS to whatever bike it's mated with. Best in the market and Canadian made.
