Southern California - Thesis defense and celebration fast approaching!

As many of you know, I'm finishing up grad school. My thesis defense is on Sept 8 at 2 PM, and I'm hosting a quick celebration on Sept 9 (6:30 PM to ???). My BikeForums friends are, of course, invited. I was kidding, but I do have a real problem.


Actually I have a aerosol catalist accelerator causing a green stain in
a white granite.
( granite installers are using this to a accelerate the hardening of the glue/epoxy)
the green shows up very light after a few minutes, the darkens to an emerald like color
after a few days. a "poultice" changes it brown/rust color.
We are thinking it may have something to do with copper trace elements in the stone.

We can't seem to figure out how to reverse the reaction.
The company won't give us the chemical makeup of the compound, as its " propriatary ".
I think were screwed....may have to replace the kitchen counters...
