i need a spoke grabber for a set of Hope Pro III straight-pull hubs.
the spokes just turn in the hub when i try to tighten them as the spoke has no way of gripping the hub.

where can i get one from?

Alternatively, you could try putting a piece of rubber hose around the spoke and squeezing with some pliers, making sure the grooves in the jaws are aligned with the spoke (to keep from crimping the spoke). The friction might be enough to keep the spoke from turning.

The better way would be to detension the side of the rim where the spokes need to be tightened. This is really the proper way of doing it anyways. There's products out there like twist resist for bladed spokes but all that does is teach bad technique.

If you have non-bladed but still oval spokes like aerolites... you may have to buy that $28 tool linked in post #2.
