I went to a shindig over in Arlington and saw this Artsy Xyclo. At night they were riding it around and the
man part was lit. It looked like a fun project. The sign advertises this program:

Arlington is the most bike friendly suburb of DC. They even promote car-free with this carfree diet program.
DC used to have a similar youth bike mechanic program as part of Shaw Eco Village but its gone. The good thing
about these programs is they might raise a generation of bike mechanics that don't get a bad attitude about helping you keep your trusty old bike running.

Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
