I did a 20mi ride today the longest I have done since I started back riding 4 weeks ago.No problems other than my butt got a little sore I may change seats but since I have had this bike less than 2 weeks I am going to wait to see if my butt gets used to the seat.I would like to be a little faster I am still doing around 15 mph I think that will come with time.
Not bad at all . . . keep it up. You'll soon see your distances and average speed go up for sure.

4 weeks. New bike. 20 miles. 15 mph. I'd say that's pretty good, indeed.

They didn't say it so I will. Give the saddle a chance. Your butt has not hardened up yet- and the saddle has not softened to your shape.
Mind you- Some butts and some saddles will never match up- but give it about 100 miles before you set light to it.

If you averaged 15mph, that's pretty darn good for only four weeks of riding. I've been riding for two months now and my best average, so far, is around 12.5 mph.
