Hello all, Obviously I'm new to this forum, but I'm looking forward to learning a lot.

I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin so I rode my old shwinn 1 speed everywhere. I've had a few different bikes over the years, nothing real fancy.

I live in Bettendorf, Iowa now so traffic is not too bad for riding except during rush hours.

Earlier this year I started doing triathlons and since the only bike I had was a mountain bike, that's what I used. I have been on the lookout for a used road bike to try and I found a Fuji Del Ray for $20.

I'm going to try to get used to it this week and use it this weekend for my last race this year.

I see that there are a lot of different forums for different types of riders, so I'll be browsing quite a few.

Thanks all, see you on the road.

Hello KZ, yes, there are forums for all types of riders and interests, including a forum for anything except cycling (Foo).

How old is the Fuji?

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions :) !

I don't know how old the Fuji is. If you (or anyone else) can give me an idea of what to look for, I can look the bike over to give you the details.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Ah, take some photos, and post in the Classic & Vintage forum :) .

You can also look at the components, and see if you can check the date codes.

There should be a serial number on the bike, too.
