For all my adult life i have taken a shoe size 8 u.k,and have never had any problems........!Until i bought a pair of keen h2 newport sandals, and a pair of keen copper canyon sandals off e bay u.k size 8..!neither of them are the correct fit...!!!!!!!!!!!I have since become aware that that you are supposed to go a half size up..!WTF ..is that all about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They are size 8 or they are not......and the ones i have bought are no way size 8 u.k fitting.!Keen, the ethos of your company is sound...but your shoe sizes and your responses to e mails/customer relations are not..!(they have not answered my e mails to them!about this issue!)I hope this serves as a warning to anyone who may be thinking of buying keen footwear...!Peace..!
As far as I'm aware, there has always been some sort of variance for certain manufacturers. I wear an 11.5 in Skechers, but a 12 in Docs. And my cycling shoes are mostly 12.5, so I'm not at all surprised that this happened to you.
I would never buy a new brand of shoe without first trying on a few sizes just to be sure. For that reason, I don't think it's fair that you blame Keen. In this case, you would have saved yourself money and frustration, had you bought locally. Or at least tried some on first.
Just my 2p.
