JT...this is a social ride. The times were written up over 2 years ago. I have never paid attention to how long we actually wait around, but we basically wait long enough for everyone to get in, all new riders to get ready and the current ones to get gassed.

For those that are new...you might want to come a little early for the legs. You could also give me a call. PM me for my cell number. I can give you an idea of where we are at.

I'm not looking to ride a 4:30 century like others :rolleyes:, I'm all in for a more laid back social ride. However if possible I would like to get a century in before I have to go.

^^^ yes. a bathroom right next to the parking lot. however, i normally show up already dressed to ride. most do i think. i will change afterwards for the drive home. later.

There is a small bathroom there, but most of us drive there already in kit. Either way try to be ready to roll by 8 for the first loop.

BTW - technically the park doesn't open until 8 but the gate is usually open before.

I've had a sore throat all day. It's gotten a little worse as the day has dragged on... Not too terrible, though. Barring it getting horrible by 6:00am, I'm still gung-ho about the 4:30 first loop with Colorchange. ;)

Thankfully, I just got home to an empty house. It's awesome. I should get a full night's rest/recovery starting in about an hour.

We roll at 8am to do 37 miles with a quick stop. I would show by 10:30-10:45 to be sure.

You could always show at 8 and do the 1st 2 loops adding up to ~69.8 ish miles if my numbers are right. Loops 2 and 3 would give you 65.3 - again if my numbers are right.

Smokin, you've ridden with us before....give yourself a good estimate of where we'll be with starting at 8 and riding 37.7 miles...knowing we will be waiting for the B group possibly twice....once at the stop on the first leg and then at the end of it....

Psi...great job on organizing this. I was my first time for the Invitational and had a great time. Too bad I could not stay for the third loop but I had a family thing come up and I had to take care of it.
