Hi,

I'm thinking about getting a license for CAT5 or master 35+ license so that i can race from next year.
Where can I get the license and how do I find some race info?

thank you guys.

USCF - united states cycling federation. You want to wait until they start the '09 year though, otherwise you'll end up with an '08 license and will ned to reapply... Good luck out there

Actually, that's USAC - USA Cycling, which used to be called USCF. You can get plenty of info at www.usacycling.org (http://www.usacycling.org).

As JFO said, you might want to wait until next year to get your license, especially since the road racing season is pretty much over now.

Yep, better to wait 'til the '09 season to buy a license. For any races you want to do as this season winds down, just buy a 1-day license.

Also, many (if not most) of the masters class races do not allow CAT 5s. You'd need to upgrade to a 4 first.
