yo all,
my name is Nathan, sixteen year old boy form NH, i have had multiple wal-mart bikes, with after a few months, break down to the point that i would be in danger if i tried to repair and ride again, i am very hard on bikes and i am sick of the department store crap. i was driving today and saw that my local bike repair shop was going out of business, i went in to get my new rim for my department crap bike, i saw a lonely trek hanging on the wall, it was the last bike they had, i instantly fell in love with it, it has an amazing paint job, the reason i was looking at it, it was marked down 400 dollars, making it 275 dollars, scince i was going to pay almost 100 in parts for the wal-mart bike, i took it for a test drive, i was riding and could not even believe the difference i was feeling, i hit the brakes and almost tumbled over the bars. after they tweaked a couple things, i bought it and took it home. i put a nice coat of wax on it, then went trail riding, i mean TRAIL riding, like big holes, hills. MUD it was awesome, the bike performs like a dream, it beat all my friends bikes(department store bikes) i was the only person who, did int break down, i came out alive and i think, they had at least worn out their brakes, some chains snapped, and i think some forks were bent, i came out alive, washed it and dried it then re-waxed it. that was my intro! this all happened today, i am going back tommrow with some more friends(better bikes) and i will take plenty of pictures for you all!:twitchy:
