Any leads on the smallest (in teeth) freewheel available for a normal track hub? (in this case a Phil Wood Kierin hub)
It's running a 12t fixed at the moment which is dandy but I'd like to try a free-wheel set up for longer rides. I recall seeing evidence that the 14t is the usual smallest but 13's can be had - I just can't remember where I read it or who makes the smaller ones.
I don't want BMX ones as they're too small.
Oh - this being for this - my crazy fixed Brompton folder:

I love Bromptons so much. This super nerdy guy comes into my work a lot. He always folds up his Brompton and brings it along with him.

When i said BMX hubs are too small I meant threading not teeth - ideally I'd like the same but I know this isn't realistic; maybe I need a different hub so I can go for the small sizes.
Anyone know where I can get 115mm OLN rear hubs in 32h?
I've always wondered. My buddy has a 9 tooth cassette on his 20". Are they shimano style hubs like on road bikes?

That's probably a shimano capreo cassette which has a few little ones bunged on the end

it started out that way... odyssey essentialling copied the shimano DX hub. the really small drivers as they are called now are 1 piece. primo makes and 8t as well as profile. most of the companies have they own driver/ engagment systems now
The smallest standard freewheel you can get is 15 tooth, and the only place I've seen them is harris cyclery (http://sheldonbrown.com/harris/singlespeed.html#freewheels). 16 tooth is the smallest from shimano and ACS. Cheapest option by far.
You can go down to 13T if you use a standard cassette hub, (or 11 with a cassette cog), but it'd be hard to mod it to 115mm spacing.
Your best bet is to find either a BMX cassette hub or BMX flip-flop (go down to 10T with smaller threaded side) with a 3/8" axle and file it flat.
