Well I just got back into cycling and looking for a partner. Wanting to work up to touring, but I made a dumb move and got a MTB (I use to do trail riding in NY). I plan on buying a touring bike before I get to the touring. I figure once I get to going 100m. on MTB then I can start touring. Right now I'm at about 30m (with hills(well the ones I can find)). Hoping to meet some new people and hopefully make some friends.

What are the good clubs for cycling in OK?

If you live in OK and wouldn't mind a few newbie questions here and there let me know!!

Getting a MTB doesn't qualify as a dumb move, even if you get another "dedicated" road bike in the future, a bunch of the cycling scene in Oklahoma is off-road! So do not be discouraged.

Where are you?

Go here: OBS (http://www.oklahomabicyclesociety.com/)

And get signed up for the LIST (http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/ok-bike-society/messages)

Yeah, that's probably true but you aren't too far away for some of the weekend events. Just load up and come on down.

You also may find some folks closer to Enid through the list.
