howdy yall
I recently bought the bike island 2008 cromo "old school fixed gear" frameset (http://bikeisland.com/cgi-bin/BKTK_STOR20.cgi?Action=Details&ProdID=1084) (= no-decal kilo tt)... but before I could put it together the fork was stolen.
I assume that some people out there who bought this frameset are replacing the fork on it - so if anybody has an extra one lying around (preferably in black or white) I'd like to buy it from you for a decent price! I'm not sure what length steerer tube I need offhand, but the framesize I bought was the 53 c-c. (Anyone have that measurement?)
I'd also be interested in any similarly brake-drilled, 1" threaded 700c cromo forks with ~40mm rake anyone might wish to part with.
Alternately, does anyone know where/from whom I might be able to just order the replacement fork directly? Bike island hasn't responded to my e-mail yet (granted, it's only been 12 hours).
