I always prefer to mount/dismount and carry my bike from the left side. Even when I put a foot down at a stop it is my right foot 98% of the time. Obviously this isn't a good practice, anyone have some good suggestions to make myself more "ambidextrous"?

Why?
While not that big a deal there are times where dismounting on the right side of the bike could come in handy. I mess around with it every now and then but I dont see it valuable enough to really learn.

yeah, if you're going to have to remount parallel to a steep camber that slopes up to your right, it's a lot easier if you remount from the left, and vice versa. that being said i and most other people only dismount to one side and just practice doing so on a variety of terrain.
for the amount of time i have to practice, i'd rather have one side be automatic than two sides that i'm just "ok" at.
