Boy , I did a very relaxing 90 k ride today, and it was melbournes first "real" summers day 34 deg C !!, And man I am sunburnt , wrist to jersey line, mid thigh to just above the ankle, neck and face. It's cooled down for the evening now, but I feel like i'm on fire !!!:irritated :D

I post this in all seriousness. The best remedy in the world for sunburn (apart from prevention of course) is tomato juice, straight from the tomato. Slice up a tomato and rub the stuff on a sunburned area. I kid you not. I have done this myself on numerous occasions and IT WORKS!!!

Oh yeah, and drink heaps of water too.

Yeah, summer sucks. I didn't realise it even got to 34C in Melbourne. It was only 30 up here today :p

Oh yeah, and the tomato juice thing works better if it comes from a fresh tomato.

Buddy, about your "Velosophy #3," I heard that you should never invite a Baptist fishing, that you must invite at least two. If you invite only one, he'll drink all your grog.
