Hi,
So i have a friend that is going to be in Japan (Tokyo & Kyoto), does anyone know any bicycle shops in these regions that may have NJS frames / parts ?
Are frames there much cheaper than here ? By how much ?

I don't think the bike frames are going to be significantly cheaper. But if you were going to be buy a frame, he might need to pay a fee at customs and or extra luggage fee for the plane ride. So it might break even with an online purchase.

It depends on what you want, really.

it's going to be a lil cheaper, but the hype in japan is reaching it's peak so STILL be prepared to pay mucho dinero for frames. u'd have better luck buying components.

Yeah maybe...Nitto and Sugino just jacked up their prices in June and it seems this hasn't reflected the US yet.

The short answer is:
Kyoto - Gan Well Pro
Tokyo - Carnival, Blue Lug, Sexon, JAN, Punch, Protech, Recycle Depot
Addresses for most are on this forum site
Unless you mean a proper track racing shop that sells parts to keirin riders for the purpose of racing, then you want to visit
