Here is the bike I brought home tonight, great shape, I have no idea what year?
Can anyone help with that?

Schwinn Mirada Mountain bike.

It will never see a mountain, but just about everything else...

New tires, new brakes, shifts great! It is the best bike I have owned in my 43 years.
The rear rack is great, I am already thinking panners for a camping trip in two weeks!

Great site.

If that saddle is set at the right height for you the frame looks to be the perfect size.

You know, if you posted closeups of the bike components such as chainrings, dropouts, headset, etc, we could probably help you out with at least the era from whence it emerged. (e.g. Exage components with Biopace chainrings would be late 80's, I'm thinking.)

if you want to find the year of a bike, classic and vintagr is your best bet

I'll try and get some better pictures. That is just the picture the seller had up on Craigslist...

I was just so excited I had to post something about it.
