In many threads, the name and user info of some people is red, while others are black. Why the difference?

The red ones are currently online (and have not checked the Use Invisible Mode in their User Control Panel).

I was going to ask the same question, why is my name in red.

I don't think it's red when I'm offline, but I can't see my posts unless I'm online, so to me, it's always red.

It used to be only the username was Red. Now it's all of the information. Think I perferred it the old way.

I wondered about this too.

Off topic: I just learned the "ctrl" + b/i/u for on-the-fly text formatting.
