Dude, you're in Charlotte, North Carolina. What part of that don't you understand?

Dude, you're in Charlotte, North Carolina. What part of that don't you understand?

When we moved here the mail would arrive addressed; Charlotte, NC 28227 or Mint Hill, NC 28227 as the alternate address. Our town post office has on the front door: Mint Hill, NC 28227.

Also, for some reason, if you are looking for area businesses more searches seem to favor Charlotte. Mint Hill is an incorporated "town". (http://www.minthill.com/)

You missed my point. NASCAR central doesn't give a damn about bicycles other then a child's toy. In other words, find something better to do with your time. Atlanta isn't much better.

Gotta disagree, Diesel. Charlotte is pretty progressive these days in terms of transit. NCDOT has a ways to go. Time to pay another visit, perhaps. CA2NC, best of luck with the vote.

Diesel', I'm an old dude & I need clear statements to help me see the point being made, if you know what I mean - :(

I've got to agree w/ tulip, the bike advocacy community here has plans that emulate the Portland, OR model for biking nirvana -

CITY-WIDE BIKE PLAN APPROVED

Big Turnout by Bicycle Community

The Charlotte City Council’s vote of approval Monday night marked a watershed moment for the future of bicycling in the City of Charlotte.

Ten citizen speakers included Moira Quinn representing Charlotte Center City Partners, Ed Moyers of the Bicycle Commuter Mentor Program and Dick Winters, the newly appointed Program Manager for the County Health Dept’s Safe Routes to Schools initiative. Dan Faris, Chair of CABA, brought 128 emails for City Council perusal. By a vote of 7-4 the plan was approved – (Republicans Lassiter, Cooksey, Peacock, and Democrat Kinsey voting against).

Special thanks to staff of CDOT, Toole Design and Land Design, the Plan Stakeholder committee and all who participated in the public meeting process during plan development.
