I broke my 9sp Veloce RH Ergo brifter, specifically the piece of the body that holds the inner brake pivot. I have the replacement body and am getting ready to transplant all of other pieces from the broken one. I found instructions on removing/replacing the shift mechanism at http://www.nuttycyclist.co.uk/cycling/ergo-rebuild.htm, but none on how to remove/replace the brake lever. Anyone done this?

After some more searching I found the answer on yellowjersey.com; drive the brake lever pivot pin out with a small blunt punch. I'm still wondering if I will be able to take the shifter parts out as a unit or if I will have to undo all the springs, etc. and put them all back. Should be fun.

Watch this video. There is also one for disassembly.

You will need to remove the parts piece by piece. Make sure to have a exploded diagram available and be careful the springs do fly across the room.
