I hope I am not repeating any previous posts (I am new to this site). But I wanted to make sure all you Oregon and SW washignton riders are aware of http://www.bikecommutechallenge.com/ It is a nice way to get 10% of at local bike shops for something you already do -- commute by bike.
Do not worry they are not trying to sell you anything, it is put on by The Bicycle Transportation Alliance in an attempt to promote cycling in the NW.
Plus it is fun to keep track of yours friend's mileage :)
