Hi. We are new to the forum. We used to ride bikes a lot, but as Don lost much of his vision due to Retinitis Pimentosa, we stopped riding. Now we bought a tandem so we could both ride with me (Jean) doing the captain's job of steering. It is lots harder to steer that big thing with two people on it than a solo bike. We are enjoying it very much. We are recently retired, and we do the snowbird thing in our RV in Florida, so we hope to take the tandem with us there this winter.
