I'm new to this site, just found the link on a message from a Facebook friend.
I live in Greeley CO (about one hour or 50 miles north of Denver). I've been an avid cyclist for 14+ yrs and a cycling fanatic for about the past 2 yrs. Some of my friends will likely argue the fanatical part as being more like 10-12 yrs but recently it's become more of an obsession for me.
In past years I've ridden as much as 7000 miles per year, mostly roadie type, but lately it's been closer to 50-75 miles per week. I'm trying to work up to getting 100-125/week but just haven't been able to get more than 3 rides per week.
As far as background is concerned, I was going to be a music major in college but through experiences I had this changed and I ended up studying Spanish. I was going to teach at the high school level but this didn't work out for me, for reasons more than pay, although this is the reason I won't be going back to it. I currently work for a major insurance company, sort of in the financial services sector. I'm not hardly an "expert" given my background has absolutely nothing to do with business or insurance. The career came as an opportunity and blessing when teaching didn't work out for me.
