My legs do not allow me to run as much as I like, but I am visiting New York for a few days and saw this fun Mind body spirit run in Central Park this morning. It was only 4 miles so I signed up and had a great time. Being from multiple winner of the NY Marathon Grethe Waitz' country I have always wanted to run in NY. Never been to New York before and I am amazed at the friendliness here, and how easy this city is to be a tourist in. I am off to Worcester MA tomorrow and will try to take part in Major Taylor memorial century on september 21.

Glad tropical storm Hannah's arrival was delayed for you. We may get 6"-8" of rain later today.

The big cities of the world are wonderful places to visit. New York is no exception.

You will be closer to me tomorrow in Worcester, but if you get to New Bedford, Ma. let me know. Lots of your countrymen here.
