So today at Speedwell Forge Triathlon I was hopin on my bike after t1 went to put my foot in my shoe and my foot slipped into the spokes while riding... OUCH! Cut a good chunk from my big toe about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom and most of the way through and now i'm sitting here with 8 stitches and a new shiny pair of crutches. Just a little warning for you guys, i had never thought about that kinda stuff happening but now that i see it i'm supprised it doesn't happen more.

are you sure you don't have knives for spokes? lol
no but seriously...wow, that's crazy. The only thing crazier would be if you still finished the race after that.

The last tri I did, one of the fast guys rearended a parked car at about 25 or so mph on his bike, ended up in the back window, first thing he said to the first responders was that he wanted to pick up his bike and run it in!
Needless to say he went home on a stretcher LOL!
