Drat, here I was thinking things were getting beter, well I have to assume that there has been some positive result from my training, but I realized this morning that things are gone arwy!
I noticed that my trainer was making some, ok more noise lately, this morning Mme. complained that it is getting quite noticable upstairs now.
I started fooling round before hopping on the trainer, and it now seems to me that the level 3 resistance is no different than the level 2, its not a good trainer to be honest. Now I have to ask the question, what is your opinion about the CycleOps fluid trainer, I know somone who has one, they love it, I tried it, breifly, and cant say too much, but how has anyone found it for durability? noise? resistance?

My wife and I both have Cyclops Fluid II trainers. (Sad isnt it - two bikes and two trainers in our living room.)

I have been using mine for about 2 years and she has had hers for 6 months. Both have held up well. It always feels harder to work on the trainer than outside, but then again, it is not as much fun.

I have the fluid trainer too.Mine's at least five years old.It is quiet but I don't think it gives enough resistance.I have to be in the big ring and my smallest cogs to work really hard.I only use it when the weather is really bad.
