Utility Cycling - Lockable Rack Boxes?

Hi there I have a topeak rear rack system and would like to add a plastic-cased box with a key-lock on it, not just a bag that can be cut open if someone really wants to. It's for my electric-bike that has expensive items in hte bag.

Could you possible give me some manufacturer names that make such boxes?

I might retrofit a sliding rack underneath it so it works with the topeak rear rack. If there are other rear-racks that have this easy locking sliding system as well, I would like to know. Thanks a lot guys.

I made my own out of an old Pelican drybox that I used for one of my old underwater film cameras systems.

I cut slots in the bottom of the box and ran long hose clamps around my xtracycle to hold it in place. I put one of the foam pieces back int he box to cover the bands and picked up a couple of locks to secure everything inside.

It's kind of bulky, but that was the size of box I had and it's very useful when biking around town.

I've not used either.
My opinon: Don't plan to keep anything valuable in either one. Any kind of indestructible box is going to be too heavy to put on a bike, and anything you put on a bike will likely be easier to break into that a car trunk. The ideal application for these would be to store your bike helmet, and you'd have to check the dimensions pretty carefully to confirm that was the case.

You might also look on Ebay for motorcycle trunks, which come in widely varying sizes and prices, including some fairly small cheap ones.

Couple of options, use ubolts and bolt a lockable decent quality tool box to it. Ortlieb (http://ortlieb.com/_prod.php?lang=en&produkt=tourbox) makes a couple of very nice hard side boxes. But they are pricey.
