Mrs Stringbreaker and I met up with her cousin and husband today for a ride on the Foothills trail to South Prairie and back. After walking around the Puyallup fair ALL day and I mean All day we did the thirty miles up and back this afternoon. A picture perfect September day in Western Washington. Felt like a million to be able to get back on the bike and not have any back pain at all:D. I think I could have done another 10 or 15 miles no problem. Since I'm on strike I hope to get in some more riding before the weather turns to crud in the not too distant future. Anyone else get out this weekend?

We did the Puyallup today as well :D . I had a nice ride down to the Oxbow facility, where I met Mr. East Hill. We had elephant ears, Seattle Fudge, and bought piroshki from the Kaleenka.

We saw 4-H cats, looked at the sheep, visited the Draft Horse Barn, and admired the stuff in the Hobby Hall.

MMMMMM Piroshki. I can hardly wait every year to get one. The first thing we do is ride the roller coaster since we haven't eaten and then wait for a half hour or so then I go get the Piroshki. We also had fish and fries and a BBQ beef sandwich from the Younglife booth and also so pie and icecream and my wife had Krusty Pup and I forget what else we ate. We got there about 11:30 am and left at 8:30. A full day at the fair what a blast.

Havent Had My Surgery Yet And Im On Liht Duty But It Was Such A Nice Day I Had To Ride! I Figured 5 Easy Miles Out And 5 Back Couldnt Hurt. I Felt So Good After 5 That I Wound Up Doing A Brisk 20. Even Raced My Shadow Back To The House. The Sprint Was Too Close To Call But I Think I Got It! Glad You All Had Such A Good Day! And By The Way String, Iwas Involved With Young Life For Years Growing Up Thanks For Supporting The Kids!

Good for you!

I have never had a ride in which I failed to feel better at the end then when I started off the ride...

Did you do STP this year? I haven't had many 100+ degree rides where I felt as good at the end as I did in the cool morning just starting off :)
