I do not have the knack for prose that some of you possess but here is my ride report for my MS 150 ride. This year I planned on riding the one day option and going for a century. Unfortunatly my training was off from last lear with several 35 milers being my longest rides. I also did not train on enough hills even though I know the route and there is a section of mid-missouri rollers that are just demoralizing. I rode with a buddy from college and found my self with a 15.2 mph pace through the first 4 stops.(43 miles)

We then hit the rollers and I watched my friend (with my blessing) ride off into the future. Luckily this was only a 6 or so mile stretch of rollers before the lunch break. I started out after lunch with my friend again and said I will see you at the next stop as I knew this was a brutal stretch of incessant rolling hills.
By the time I reached the next stop my avg speed was down to 13.8 mph at mile 59. The next section was a bit of a break from the bigger hills and I cruzed into the final stop before I had to make the decision of century or not. I decided not. I finished strong though and made it to the finish.

81 miles, 14 mph average, 5 and a half hours on the bike.
