Seriously--she miaows and miaows all the time.
I make a point of picking her up when I get home
but she just complains A LOT. It doesn't bother me
I just don't get it. She is also kind of a scrapper.
She is small but apparently when she lived with other
cats she pushed all the other cats around. I really like
the kitty but I wonder if there is some screw loose in
her little brain.

she has a giant bowl of food she can eat all the time.
maybe she wants human food or something.

She might have worms. If she has food all of the time, is skinny and is HUNGRY, you might want to check that out.

In her poop look for little things that look like rice.

Or if there is slime on the poop.

she doesn't go through her food that fast--I checked and she isn't fat but
there is like about 3/16 of an inch of fat you can pinch over her frame.

maybe she is just bossy.

have you tried changing her food? My little kitty doesn't like certain food and will completely ignore it.

A cat's brain is nothing but a bag of screws, all loose.

Number Four's head rattles when he shakes it.

She don't want no stale food you left out all day while at work. She wants fresh chicken cat food. The good stuff that comes out of the little cans. And she wants it served in a fancy small bowl not that giant bowl full of stale food. She says, she's a cat not a dog GOSH-DARNIT!

Maybe she just wants you to cuddle her.

Some cats are just vocal. Mine is meowing in the other room right now, because he mainly wants attention constantly. Tortoise shells and Siamese are notoriously vocal. My cat is neither, but he doesn't shut up.

Probably right--she is just vocal. When I pick her up she is content for a minute then she wants down.
Maybe she wants that fancy "kitteh not dog" food.

it's not as bad when they start clawing at your legs when they want attention.

I've seen this stray around the neighborhood for the last 2 years. Little contact with people, couldn't get close to him.

A couple weeks ago, I'm here on the computer with the back door open, he runs in and jumps up on my lap, lets me pet him for a few minutes, then he turns towards me, puts his feet on my chest and looks square into my eyes for about 10 seconds.

He hasn't been more than 20 feet from me since. Now he's "cat in a box", but he's grown so much I had to cut the end of the box down.

Very quite cat, probably had to be to survive the foxes.

Lulz...teh bf's cat is extremely vocal. He even knows teh bf's name, except he pronounces it "Meow-mum" instead of "Magnum." But everyone KNOWS that it's Magnum teh kitty is calling because he won't stop saying it until teh bf comes or he decides to do something else.

I, apparently, am "Maw-maw." But he also uses that to ask for food, so maybe he just wants food every time he calls me.

Yep. I have a feeling he's using you.

He was just checking to make sure you were cool first.

Sometimes I feel like all teh bf wants is food too. What was that saying about the path to a guy's heart lies through his stomach...

BF never wants food... unless it came from chipcom's fridge.
BF will however always accept copious amounts of alcohol anytime of the day.

:D Two weeks ago last Friday - I rescued this scrawny little thing - who was so weak that his little meow trailed off to air, put up very little fight when I put him in a cage (loaded with fleas too!) and was scared stiff for a few days. Today he's just a little charmer - and a baby - sits at my feet and I happen to look down and realize he's just staring at me - then let's loose a "patented" tear my heart out puny little meowwwwww.

And since my big cat has healed a nasty wound on his neck (another cat in the house tore a dime sized chunk of skin outta him that got badly infected) and has been let out of his cage ----- the Big Boy has been enjoying his new protégé, newly named "Mini-Me" as the little guy follows the Big Boy around the house. And they play.

His tail is about 5" across - and he LOVES his tail - straight up with a question mark flip over. The little guy is going to be just like him.

Kept the cat quiet in a cage (less moving around - and ripping it open and itching at it, had a friend come over - she raises dogs and has an emergency supply of items --- and so I got some antibiotics for him (stuffing pills down a cat is not fun) - and did the neosporin. Took a while to heal too - just let him out yesterday and he and Mini-Me bonded (which is good - cause my guy likes to play and run around and the other cat - who used to play with him has become a huge beotch - and I'm sure it was she who ripped into him. So my guy has a new little playmate.:thumb:
