I read a lot about DaVinci cranks on this forum but does anyone have experience with DaVinci's modified SRAM long cage rear derailleurs? I was wondering if they work better than the current model of Shimano long cage XTR - or as well as the older model of the XTR.

I have the modified X-9 with Campy Chorus 10s levers and a SRAM 11-32 9s cassette.

Works well for us.

Seem to recall that Todd engineered and built a gizmo to allow use of these 'uncompatible' systems. Feedback was 'excellent.'

We have the same set up Campagnolo Chorus Brifters and a modified x-9 on our DaVinci Joint Venture. The combination works very well. Works better then my Centar Brifters and Centar rear deraileur
