It just dawned on me that now my two girls are going back to school, I'll have more time to ride on my own. Along with the ocassional solo roadie excursion, I can haul out the old kids trailer once again, and use it for my childs' daily commute home from school.

I have two daughters. The older one is in 3rd grade, so she goes to school full day. The younger one just started Kindegarten. That means, the younger one gets out of school at lunch, while older one gets out at 3:30pm.

I would haul them both to school, but they are both too big for the trailer now. Only one can fit, and she's already almost 6yo. The older one is 9yo, so no way can they both come along. I'd need a pedi-cab for that.

Anyway, I can use the kids trailer for the mid-day pickup of my younger child, without having to waste gas in my truck, and get in that extra ride which I never seem to get.

Today, the weather will be 75F, and sunny all day.

Nice! They had a "feature" story on the Denver news this weekend about a guy who bikes his kids to school towing a trail-a-bike as well as a "Burley" style trailer. The whole set up weighs 75 pounds...

Happy cycling!
