Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

type out some long, well thought out response only to delete it all for a shorter, quick response, or worse, delete it all together and move on? I find sometimes I'll type something out and then realize it doesn't really go anywhere, or it's just a vent, or someone else can say it way better than I can, so I delete it, or boil it down to a few simple words.

Sometimes, Ive typed a long and in depth response only to realize after I hit the submit button that my wireless connection had given out and when I go back after refreshing the connection, the entire message is gone and I give up all together. It was probably a run on sentence anyways :D
yes, when I realize I have nothing to say, which is more often then not. I should probably delete this post.

[long drawn out response removed]
Yes.
Haha, yeah. A loooong time ago, an ex wanted me back and I stupidly agreed to it, then realized I had been stupid, so I shot him off a pissed-off e-mail. He sent me a long-winded (and quite insulting) e-mail back, and I wrote out another long e-mail... and then deleted it altogether. It seriously felt really good to ignore that e-mail of his.

sometimes i am arguing with someone and after we both type out long dreadful arguments that in most cases somehow relate to his/her momma, i just say shut up. and that ends it.
also sometimes i type out really long detailed responses that take me like 15 mins and are really cool but halfway through it i gotta go do something and by the time i come back the connection time out and then i get pissed and forget about it.
I sometimes do it with short responses too
you just have to ask yourself... why the hell am I wasting my time trying to argue on a subject I don't really care about?
