Fifty Plus (50+) - How come some of the names are in red?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I've noticed that some of the names and text surrounding the avatars of some of the people in the forum are now in RED text. Why is that?

While I'd like to help support that line of reasoning for fun and giggles I'm pretty sure the names in red are folks that are currently online.

It means that you are "on-line".... Unless, you're posting in "invisible" mode, then you can be online and your name be in black.

In that mode, your name will not show up at the bottom of the page.

Mine isn't there.

Unless your masking your online presence............eh DG.

Edit: by that I mean that if your exercise the option to not appear as an active user, your name will reamin black whether or not you are on line in the forum.

While at work and viewing while NOT logged in, all the names were in red.

Now, at home, and logged in, all the names are black.

If you're looking at this forum while cycling and your FACE is red, then that's "..a normal physiological response to exercise in a middle-aged man [or woman]..."

Well I'm back and my above entry is now in black. But now this entry is in red. This is just too much to take in all at once. I'm out of here.
Now my above entry has switched back to red. This is all very creepy.
