...queue Aerosmith :) The torturous headaches have subsided, for the most part. After four weeks off the bike, I felt brave enough to try riding again. Instead of baby steps, I jumped right back into commuting. I took the shorter 17 mile route this morning to see how it goes, and just took it easy. I'm glad to report that my legs and lungs didn't give out on me, and my bum isn't sore. I was slower than usual this morning, but still under an hour (traffic lights included). I'm just happy to be riding again. I missed the wind in my face. I'm even looking forward to the rain going home. Now to just lose this spare tire I picked up....
