Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. In the build up of your hodge podge fixies, what would you not get again and why?

I'll never buy something before I've decided what I want. Like getting a 135mm track hub before I get a frame it'll fit in (and end up with a 120mm frame), or Profile bullhorns and bar end levers, and end up using cut down drops and an aero lever. Stupidity reigns in my workshop :

1) Goldmember cut out autographed by Willy Karsten - obviously an E-bay fake.
2) The same model TTT aerobars as were used to break the work hour record in +/- 1993 (read, before people fully understood aero positioning or comfort).

For the record I was chasing an angry husband. In any case it was better than being awash in a boatload of seamen, right Willy?

So you were chasing an unwilling malegoat? Well, split hairs if you like, really, we don't need to know any more.
Look, this guy was climbing a tree to get away from you:

Yeah but the gloves give me a nice tight fit whereas the grocery bags are just all over the place with suffocation possibilities. Suffocation is not cool, not cool at all.
Asphyxiation via vomiting up wild turkey though, now that is cool.
and latex gloves do that snap-thing that is both sexy, and disturbing

Well when you're hung like I am you need to go the extra mile to find a snug fit - f.ex. the gloves!
And don't start talking about "glove fingers" either because we all know that's not the case!

I am glad to hear the surgical industry realized there was someone who could use their ill-fated "For Baby's Only" line of latex hand protection.
