Are there non-custom rims that have braking surface greater than 12mm in height?

That hub is what leads me to ask. Pantour told me they need only 11mm and that the rims they stock are 12mm max. Are there any you know to be greater than 12mm?

I have a 20/26" (406/559) LWB with Sun BFR rims on it. These are BMX/downhill style rims, the flat sides are 18mm tall and the outside width is about 30mm.

"BFR" was the 2006 model name.
In 2007 they sold what appears to be the same rim under the name "Mammoth":

The same rim does not currently appear on the Sun-Ringle website, so it may be discontinued.

Excellent! Thanks

P.S. I've followed the BMX lead and found an Odyssey rim with a 19mm sidewall.

Is this just for a front wheel?

Ordered a pantour hub with the wheel. Love it. Makes chip seal easy to ride. This was for my DF because the local century is coming and the TiRex I ordered is taking forever to get here.
My right hand still goes numb, but the shoulder has been through 3 surgeries.
Some of the local roads are so bad I may add a 406 rim with pantour to the bent.
The Utah DOT glopped and glommed the chip and seal onto a perfectly smooth road to make a road that bounces my Subaru around.

I've placed an order for the short-travel Prolite with an Odyssey HazardLite BMX wheel with 19mm sidewall (they also make a wheel with a 25mm sidewall). Package should arrive in a couple of weeks. Surgery here as well, on the right wrist. I will rename it the Pantour Painkiller ... if it works :)

Put a Pantour hub on the front of my DF.
The hub has 12mm movement. Put someone on the bike and check the brake pads. Doubt that a super wide braking surface is necessary with the 12mm hub.

Yes, but I've also read reports from people having problems getting their brake shoes adjusted to handle the travel. A rim with larger sidewall couldn't hurt, so I placed the order last week.
