Hi,
like the title says, I bought a bottle of CLA pills. Now I'm wondering if I just bought into another vitamin scam. Is this stuff any good? Or should I take it back before I open it.

Depends on how much you overpaid j/k.It does apparently have some body composition as well as possible anti-cancer properties and is found in high amounts in pasture raised beef and cheese and to a lesser extent grain fed sources. So its another fatty acid in short supply in our modern diet. When it first hit the market it was outrageously priced and now I understand it is coming down in price.I don't think its as effective for fatloss as for tilting weight gain from fat towards muscle .Heres a link to some of the reported health benefits you decide http://www.mercola.com/beef/cla.htm .One solution might be to try the above pasture fed foods which would also include omega3's and many other nutrients that probably work together more effectively(
many probably not even discovered yet). You ought to be able to find a reasonable local source in Maine. But it won't take the place of proper diet and exercise for body composition changes as I'm sure you know.
