I have a friend who has one. Not sure I own a Ronco product, but my 7 year old wants a Rocket Fishing Rod and he loves the mighty putty commercial, even though he calls it mighty putt putt.

Used to fish with a big metal screw with fishing lure wrapped around it and a hook and make shift sinker at the other --- I caught bigger fish than I do now (used to fish in the Adirondacks where the perch, sunfish and pumpkinseeds were good sized. We camped every year for 2 weeks between three lakes for probably 15 years. Went up years later with ex-husband and then again with a bunch of wild girlfriends and we caught a couple of flimsy rockbass, one pitiful one swallowed the hook and was an ok size - so I cleaned it and found it's stomach full of wiggling white worms that smelled. Ick.
