all my prior touring has been on a road bike; am now building up an
mtb for tour of the southwest usa. i've found that my hbar bags, both
the clip-on style and the wire-loop bracket, do not fit the thicker
mtb stem. anyone have suggestions for a bag large enough for camera
and snacks, with a map case? need something rugged -- expect to be
hitting wash-board gravel roads, don't want a cheap plastic clip or
a mount that will slip on the bar after each unavoidable pothole.
