Has anyone tried/purchased or considered one of these bicycles? Their web site is http://www.biomega.dk/. They have unusual frames, shaft drive and internal gearing. They look cool but are they really any good?

Its definitely interesting. And I like new ideas and the shaft drive. . . but a bamboo frame??? Hmmm . . .

They are more of a design boutique than a bike maker, and grossly over-priced for what they give you. For that money, you could have a custom builder make you a nice lightweight bike using a simple Rohloff 14speed hub.
