Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - Fall/Winter Clothing for a Clyde

Are there any recommendations for sources of fall/winter clothing that will fit big guys? I am tired of ordering an XXL jacket only to find out it fits a 44-46in chest.

BTW: This forum is great. I stumbled across it by accident, but it is nice to see that there are other larger men and women having the same questions that I have. I found a home. :)

I am a big guy,too (6'3, 260) and have been a very satisfied customer.......Polartec material in all colors and weights.

Item 204 is a 4xl long sleve jersy. I picked one up and it is very nice. Given them a call, they will talk to you for as long as you want.

Absolutely thumbs up on Foxwear. Where else do you do that the tailor takes the time to find out how you will be using the clothing item, how cloths off the rack normally fit and then get a tailer made outfit. All for about the same price or less than what you'd pay in a store. My EVap coat was perfect and works great from +50 down to 2F (I did need to put on a shell once the temps dropped much below 15F). No more sweaty arrival at work. This Fall I need to get some Winter riding pants ordered up.

Performance arm warmers are quite good. They're sized oddly; I'm a large in shorts, but the small arm warmers fit me. I imagine the large must be enormous.

The Performance Tundra II longsleeve full zip jersey is my favourite fall/winter top. I'm 6'6" and 250 pounds with a 47.5" chest, and the XL fits me just fine. They have a double XL which I'm sure I'd be swimming in if I tried it on.

Last I checked, it's also on sale right now.

Check out Lowe Alpine (http://www.lowealpine.com/Products/SearchMenu.asp?ProductTypeID=19)I have one of their Tops and love it. Wicks the sweat away better then anything else I have and keeps me warm on the cooler nights when it gets into the 50's

Also I picked up a Columbia Jacket for super cheap at a local sports store. Very light and helps with the wind a lot.

Never be afraid to check out your local sports store or target for ideas. You never know what you will find to suit your needs.
