Tree tag is a very regional sport. In Texas it involves firearms and beer. Or at least the kid version does. Most adults and young teens move up to hard liquor.

Yeah, I was going to say, the acceleration has started... the news people don't seem to understand that according to the predictions of doom the danger isn't in the initial phase, it is in the collision.

I think there will be a little glitch to keep it from happening, and it will take a few years before they get the collission they hope for, and then they'll get it worked out in 2012, to coincide with Aztec prophecy... right when I am eligible for a pension.

Actually, you're not still alive. At the exact moment that the first two atoms were smashed together, a wormhole opened up in the space-time vortex. It quite literally sucked the entire universe through itself into another dimension, smashing everything into a tiny, tiny space, less than the size of a pinhead and destroying all life as we know it, including you. Upon emerging into the other dimension, everything was astonishingly re-assembled to substantially the same order in which it previously existed--again, including you--confounding the expectations of thousands of highly regarded physicists. They wil be trying to explain this for years.

For your part, the only differences you should notice are a slightly higher pitch to the dial tone on your telephone, and you're probably going to need to shave a little more often.
