BMX - what makes a bike "dialed"?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

how is it dialed? What parts help contribute to this?
I would assume it means everything on it is just perfect.

sealed 3pc cranks fitted to the person's height and same with the frame, properly fitted headset, sealed wheelset that is true, non slipping grips, stem and seat post. maintained bike chain and properly working brakes and tires. That is in my opinion the meat and potatoes that I look for when I judge a dialed bike. One that is basically safe.

everything is working like it should and nothing needs adjusting. my bike with its creeking cranks (screwed up bb shell), rear wheel that shifts out of place on the slightest sketchy landing (screwed up dropouts), loose creeking spokes and a headset that feels like it has sand in it = not a dialed bike.

Bike is in top riding condition. Dialed in. Probably can't look ugly either because people are so big on looks these days.

one that rolls, and is held together by duct tape, and greased with WD-40... FTW!!!!
JK...
that's hell on wheels...
it's only dialed if YOU yourself truly thinks it's up to your style of abuse and feeling of perfection, ya feel?

oh well... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
i don't log on much so everything's pretty much new!
I'll bump this old thread again with some more knowledge. Handlebars, crank length, frame size, seat post height, stem length and stem height are what dials in a bike. Having dialed in brakes is a different story. I bet my dialed in bike looks nothing like what you all would expect. Dialed isn't a look and doesn't have anything to do with having trendy parts. If it FEELS right, it is dialed in for you.
