Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I've posted this over in Touring but I thought I'd gather information here too.
If you've broken a spoke, which side have you broken more often? Drive side or nondrive side?

I've never broken anything but drive side spokes.

Drive side spokes have greater tension, so I would guess they'd break more. This has been my personal experience.

Where's the option for folks who havn't broken a spoke yet but would like to jinx themselves on a public forum?
