30 months ago I started this venture. Today I rolled over my 10,000th mile! Tom, I don't know if we have a certificate for this, but I sure would appreciate one ;)

And you deserve one! Congrats, that's a heck of an achievement!

Excellent work! Any fun tales of great rides or favorite bike(s) during that time? A good ride or bike story is always enjoyed.

Thanks for the accolades. Fun tales? I guess my first century last spring, and a few short rides over the summer with my wife. Most of these miles were done between the hours of 4AM and 6AM alone on quiet roads, day in and day out.

WAY TO GO!
I was berating myself for still not having reached that goal (with the club)in 5 years and then I noticed you were from Sarasota Fla.
Being in Buffalo I don't feel nearly so bad (lol)(Yes, we do sell studded bike tires up here)

That is friggin awesome big guy. I'm about 4000 behind you, but I have been so busy with work this year, my mileage is really suffering.

As most Clydes would...Beer!

I would like to add that ALL of those miles were ridden between 340-350#'s. So it can be done!

That's fantastic! It's the same goal I have and I wondered what kind of time frame to use as a baseline. Granted this is an aggressive timeline for someone who lives in a place where it snows, but thanks for setting the bar. I'm impressed and that's a heck of an accomplishment.
