Training & Nutrition - Polar CS 600 questions...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Has anyone who owns this bike computer ever tried mounting the speed sensor to work with the rear wheel? Just wondering with the 2.4 ghz if it has a strong enough signal to work? It would be nice to use that way for when I am trining indoors on the trainer.

The stock units do not work that far however I have seen instructions online for modifying OTHER Polar sensors to work in back. I'd probably buy a spare sensor if you're going to try it.

He looks to be referencing the WIND speed sensor. Which works perfectly fine on either the front or back of the bike. :thumb:
