I've got the opportunity to by a Marwi Nightpro Titan second hand for $150, it usually retails closer to $400. It's a single beam halogen light. I was just wondering if anyone uses one of these and what their thoughts are on it?

Also, is there any issue in buying a second hand NiMH battery? The seller tells me the light is only 6 months old, so I don't imagine it has gone through too many recharge cycles.

The other light I'm looking at is the Night Rider Sol Mate, which will cost me about $200, but it's new. This is a LED lamp. Any opinions on how it compares to the Marwi?

Thanks

Halogen lights aren't all that great anymore. For $150, you could probably pick up a minewt or a dinotte 200 nimh light which would be just about as bright, smaller, lighter, with greater battery life and no bulb replacement issues.
