So I have this pair of Zipp track hubs that are probably 4 years old or so and I was wondering if any of you folks know anything about them? They have sealed bearings and they have kind of a unpolished silver look to them. They are amazing hubs, they lasted for 2 years or so of messenger work in the kooky weather that is Boston.

Don't know anything about them specifically, but if you intend to ride them, I'd suggest you change the bearings, and generally check the whole thing over, looking for damaged flanges and threads particularly, and maybe change the axle if it's not in great shape (worn threads, bent etc).

well the funny thing is that they don't need anything. they spin like crazy. the only thing that needed a fixin' was the rear axle was a little rusty from lack of use(I stoped riding for a year or so) I just cleaned that off and added a little lube and it's all back to normal.
