I'm not entirely sure where you are coming from, strange accusations, methinks you might be a little biased ?

In any case, anyone can see when I joined this forum, the questions I asked and when I placed my first DX order. Following on from that it's clear that went from a Q5 to a P7 and started making lights to run from a dynohub. If you really think I am in China or HK and work for DX you could check the times of my posts ? Or you could ask the guy in Dorset I sent some lights to ?

What are you accusing me of actually ? Can you clarify ?

The reason why I know someone else's order has been shipped is actually very simple - he told me.

One of the guys on here is fortunate enough to live near me, how lucky can you get ?

;)

WHAT A SHOCKER, Call me biased because I have an opinion on DX that isn't pushing there products.. I have bought more than a handful of items from them, and dozens of high end lights over the last couple of years.. Many of the DX's arrive and do not perform to spec and some are just plain cheap.. But the reason people buy from them is the fact that they are the cheapest game in town.. I have given away more DX lights than I have kept.. I have never given away any of my fenix lights or lights bought from more prominent US sellers.. The US Sellers know the score if they provide a bad product, they will get hit hard by negative reviews and will lose sales.. DX doesn't have an issue with negative reviews because they know they are the cheapest seller on the web.. Of the couple of P7 lights I bought from DX, all had mode switching problems.. Not a big issue, easy fix with RE magnets, but it says something about QC of the product..

I'm not interested in your opinion.

I'm not posting for you to respond to, but rather for others who might come across this thread. It's fair that they get a heads up to the fact that you are completely biased towards DX and those that give their items glowing reviews, and you have a history of trashing people who give unfavorable reviews to DX items,

I never mentioned DX.

When I said biased I was refering to your attitude towards me, which is somewhat borne out by the conclusion you have just jumped to.

In any case, I don't have an issue with any supplier, however I am not in the US (lots of members of this forum aren't BTW) so it would make little sense to pay more to a US supplier for what is quite often exactly the same item I can get post free on DX.

I've bought quite a few torches from DX and maybe I have been lucky - BUT all of them have been superb - so why shouldn't I say so ?

I've had problems with 2 orders (not torches) which DX sorted out fairly efficiently considering the distance.

I don't have a problem with US sellers, though I do believe if they are charging more they should provide more and I don't have a problem with you, I'm just here for the lighting.

The moderators have asked yo to live and let live and I've asked you to.

For some reason you don't like me, ok I can live with that.

Therefore I suggest you take this advice:

ok, enough of this pissing contest, I strongly suggest you knock off the
bickering and personal attacks, continuing to do so will result in infractions, banning , and
other unpleasant outcomes.

wow do you guys want to take this to PM or something? This is ruining an otherwise very informative thread. Maybe you two should just ignore each other.

TIA.

OK, enough back and forth. Ziemas, as far as I can see, UC hasn't violated any guidelines here. My best suggestion is the ignore button if you disagree with him that strongly.

UC, I would also suggest very strongly placing Ziemas on YOUR ignore list. This constant bickering is detrimental to the forums. You are both entitled to your views, but we do require that you discuss them in a civil manner. We don't want to have to step in any more on these spats, and next time will involve some penalty.

Thank you.
